How can the natural environment affect the healts of people and animals?
In Sweden we have a problem with radon in the ground getting into houses and putting people at risk of lung cancer. In other parts of the world drinking water may contain arsenic. And more, the lack of some chemical elements, like selenium and iodine, affect our health in a negative way (the picture shows a woman with goitre caused by lack of selenium).

Taking this course you will gain knowledge of worlwide problems considering the effects the natural enironment on our health. It is an evening course including lectures, discussions, written tests and a group assignment.
