Biology, biotechnology and bioinformatics
Biology, biotechnology and bioinformatics are areas spanning from conservation biology to medicine, computer science and the borderland to chemistry and physics. If you are interested in these subjects, you have found the University in Europe with the most satisfied students. We educate biologists, biotechnologists and bioinformaticians working in the industry, in academic research, in governmental agencies and NGOs, as teachers, journalists, etc.

To continue with research
Many of our master students continue with PhD-studies within the fields of biology, molecular biology or medicine in Sweden or elsewhere in the world.
