EU/EEA students

Citizens within the EU/EEA region

If you are a citizen within the EU/EEA region you do not need a visa for studying in Sweden and you can apply until April 15.

You are eligible to be admitted if you fulfil all requirements and can show proof of a finished Bachelor´s degree at the latest when the programme starts (in late August).

Note: When applying through www.antagning.se for this occasion you must choose programmes via their Swedish titles: Masterprogram i bioinformatik (Master programme in Bioinformatics), Masterprogram i biologi (Master programme in Biology - 10 different specialisations, nine specialisations are applied via Antagning.se.), Masterprogram i molekylär bioteknik (Master programme in Molcular Biotechnology), or Masterprogram i tillämpad bioteknik (Master programme in Applied Biotechnology).

Note! Students not that fluent in Swedish or unable to apply via the Swedish web pages can contact katariina.kiviniemi@ibg.uu.se or Elisabeth Långström elisabeth.langstrom@ibg.uu.se for written instructions which will help students to apply via the Swedish pages at Antagning.se. You are welcome to direct questions about the application process to katariina.kiviniemi@ibg.uu.se.

Still, it is prefered that you apply already for the January 16 deadline, since the handling of your application in that case is simplified. Note! The application process starts already October 17, 2011, at www.universityadmissions.se.

For further information, contact katariina.kiviniemi@ibg.uu.se
