Additional possibilities
There is also the possibility to do a minor practical or project oriented course also during the summer. Literature project is a shorter project where you perform an individual literature study which is then presented in the form of a written report. Research training gives the opportunity to take part in the practical work and activities at a work place, without necessarily having to run your own project. Project work finally is a possibility to delve deep into a limited subject and at the same time obtain training and knowledge about working in a project format.
If you are interested in doing this over the summer you have to take necessary contacts well in time before the summer, to ensure that you indeed can be admitted and can obtain appropriate supervision for your project. All formalities with finding a place and a supervisor, with submitting the application, getting registered and so on has to be done at the latest towards the end of the spring term.
