If your home university has a student exchange agreement with Uppsala University, you can apply to the courses at Uppsala University that are taught in English. Your application should be to your home university who makes the selection of applicants.
In addition to the list above, Biology Education Centre has international exchange agreements of its own with several universities in Europe. If your home university is not listed above, please contact our Student Exchange co-ordinator (for contact se bottom of this page) to find out whether we have an exchange agreement with your home university.
Biology courses for Exchange students 2011/2012
Advanced courses in biology are normally 10 weeks full time (= 15 hp credits or 15 ECTS). Hence one study term normally consists of two ten week-courses. However, a few additional courses are offered as part time courses during evenings and/or weekends and can be taken in parallell to other courses. We also offer a few Internet based distance courses.
The following list includes courses that are given in English and offered to exchange students during the academic year of 2011/2012.
B = Basic course
G = Course on bachelor level
A1 = Course on advanced level
A2 = Course on more advanced level (requires 3 full years' background and sometimes previous A1-courses)
Courses marked with * are courses that might not be given if there are for example too few students.
